    Pricing Policy

    TheGuardRoom.com reserves the right to price all items sent for consignment. Considerations taken into pricing include:
    • Condition of the Item TGR uses a scale of Excellent, Good, Fair.
      • Excellent - Items are ready for use and show little or no wear and tear.
      • Good- Items are usable, flags may have some fraying or minor tears and/or stains
      • Fair- Items have significant wear and tear.
    • The Condition listed for a Set of Flags is based on the overall set. These are USED flags and there may be imperfections on individual flags even if a set is listed in Excellent.
    Amount in the Set (A set of 50 flags may have a lower Per Flag price than a set of 10 flags, etc.) TGR may lower the price on items listed if they do not sell within a certain amount of time. This amount of time will vary depending on the time of year. TGR may choose to not list certain items if they are not in sellable condition. Items will not be returned.

    Payment to Consignor

    For all flags, uniforms, equipment and accessories, the consigning school will receive a check from TGR for 60% of the buyer's price. The buyer will pay for the items purchased plus shipping and handling costs to TGR. There is a 3% surcharge on credit card orders.

    For Tarps and Large Props, the consigning organization will receive a check from TGR for 60% of the buyer's price plus the cost of shipping. The buyer will pay for the items purchased plus shipping to seller. Once you've paid for your item, we will put you in contact with the seller to arrange shipping.

    What do I do if I want to sell something?

    1. Box all of your items to be sold and address them to:

      You can use the Postal Service or any Ground Shipping Company of your choosing. Please take the time to fill out one of our inventory forms and enclose it with your items.

      For flags, please lay each flag in the set one on top of another, then fold together. If multiple sets of flags were used together or during the same show, please place in the boxes in order so that the are shown on the website in order. Depending on the time of year, items received for consignment will go up on the site as soon as possible. We take the time to put models in the uniforms that we receive to give you the best chance of selling your items. Please be patient as photo shoots are only scheduled every 2-3 months for uniforms. Items received during peak months (July, August, December, January) may not go up until much later.

    2. Sit back and watch your items sell!

      After the items have been photographed and posted to the website, you can watch online and see exactly when items have sold. When a buyer contacts us to buy one of your items, a 'SALE PENDING' sign will appear in the status box below your item. As soon as payment is received from the buyer, a 'SOLD' sign will appear and your item will be removed from the inventory within 10 business days.

    What do I do if I want to buy something?

    1. Click the 'Order this Item' button next to the item you are interested in and fill out an online order form. You may also call (937) 885-1876 to place your order over the phone.

    2. TGR will then post a 'SALE PENDING' sign on all items that you are buying.

    3. You will be emailed an invoice with your total amount, including shipping & handling. Shipping and handling is generally $15.00 for flags and $30.00 for uniforms, but varies depending on the size of the order.

      We will accept the following methods of payment:

      -Preferred-
      CREDIT CARD, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Booster Organization Check.

      Personal Checks will be accepted, but delivery will be delayed until the check clears. This may be as many as 10 days. We will also accept payment via verified Paypal accounts to the following address: sales@TheGuardRoom.com

      For Credit Card orders, place your order and put 'credit card' in the 'comment' section. You will be contacted to take your number over the phone for security purposes.

    5. As soon as payment is received, we will post a 'SOLD' sign on all items purchased. We will ship your order out to you within 2 business days.

    6. Consigners will be paid based on the activity in your account. We generally let your account build up before sending out a check, but if you need payment right away on items that sell, just let us know.
